Lawrence Leyderman
Lawrence lives on the road full time as an overlanding outdoor photographer. He is location independent, & roams the earth on the look out for exquisite landscapes that he captures in creative ways. Combining his two biggest passions has led to him living the life of his dreams every single day. Photography and living on the road are the dream.
Calling Lawrence a passionate photographer is an understatement. He eats, breathes, and dreams about photography. The passion oozes out of his ears.
Not only does he love photography, he loves adventure, exploration and thrives in the challenge of getting an incredible shot. Not the standard shot that everyone else takes, and not in the standard locations that everyone goes to. Not to say that he doesn’t enjoy photographing beautiful arches in Utah that have been photographed a million times over, but he really enjoys going to places that are rarely shot, & rarely explored. He likes to go to places that are challenging to get to and to capture their beauty.
Creating is everything to him..,. be it creating an experience, or creating a work of art; creating friendships or creating memories. To Lawrence, the term creation goes beyond what people normally refer to as creation. To him, everything is a creation, including the life you live, and every moment of it.
Prior to being an educator, leading photography workshops, and living on the road, Lawrence was a full time Real Estate and Architectural photographer in New York City. He still enjoys the occasional real estate shoot.
Above all else, Lawrence wants to be an inspiration to others to not only create the life of their dreams, but to get outdoors, create art, unforgettable memories, enjoy nature, and the beautiful earth that we live on.
Susan Magnano
Susan Magnano is a photographer, an explorer and an educator who loves capturing the beauty of the people and places around her.
After getting her start as a photojournalist, Susan transitioned her skill for capturing moments into shooting events and portraits. As an award-winning photographer with over 15 years of experience, Susan is a respected educator in the industry and now shares her innovative techniques and globally-cultivated perspective on her Photo Adventures.
Photour Adventures was created out of Susan’s desire to share her passion for photography and travel through workshops and photowalks. She loves chasing the best light from sunrise to sunset through red rock canyons, lush forests and iconic city streets. Once the sun sets, Susan typically springs into action, teaching her favorite subject, light painting and shooting the stars till the wee hours of the morning.
She leads photowalks for Canon & B&H, partners with Merrell & Campmor, and is an ambassador for Litra & Light Painting Brushes.
What she loves most about photography is the ability to capture a moment, tell a story, and evoke a feeling. By teaching photography she assists others to perfect their skills, to create their vision and share their own story.
When Susan is not teaching, she is freelancing as a set photographer for the Food Network, working the red carpet for the Tribeca Film Festival and documenting natural disaster recovery sites with 8 Days of Hope and the Salvation Army.
Clifford Pickett
I was born with a curious mind and have a tendency to let it get the best of me. Embracing this has allowed me to stand in front of some very wild and interesting people and places. Before I even picked up a camera or knew what it was, I have always experienced the world in a unique way. I later learned this was in tune with a concept in Zen Buddhism known as Shoshin, meaning, “a Beginners mind”. It involves having an attitude of openness, letting go of all preconceptions, in order to see the world as if for the very first time, with a sense of awe and wonder. This world, as I see it, from the small to the large, from the mundane to the majestic, is a wild and beautiful place. That feeling as I pass through it, that sense of awe and wonder itself, is what I capture. My goal is to share this through my images to allow others to experience the same.
